Surrounded by open paddocks, native wildlife, and serene lakeside views, their day felt peaceful, whimsical, and full of intention, making it a beautiful fit for a documentary-style wedding film centred on love, connection, and quiet magic.

The Venue

Located in Kangaroo Grounds in the Yarra Valley, Inglewood Estate is a rural property defined by its natural beauty and rustic elegance. The estate features rolling paddocks often dotted with kangaroos, an enchanting lakeside stone church framed by willow trees, and a barn-style reception space filled with raw timber textures. Unique details, including a vintage Melbourne tram and windmill, added character and charm to the landscape.

The Couple

India and Caitlin describe themselves as the perfect team, and that sense of partnership was felt throughout the day. They are thoughtful, kind, and deeply connected, moving through each moment with ease and certainty. Their love is calm and grounded, built on mutual respect, joy, and unwavering support.

The Wedding

One of the most special moments was their dog, Spencer, walking down the aisle during the ceremony, instantly bringing smiles and laughter to the couple and their guests. The day struck a beautiful balance between whimsy and sincerity, creating a relaxed atmosphere where everyone felt present and connected.

The Video

When creating India and Caitlin's wedding film, I let the music lead the story. Inspired by their first dance song, Delilah by Fred Again, I chose You & Me by Flume and approached the edit with a more energetic, music-video-style rhythm, keeping the pacing closely tied to the beat. It was a creative risk that paid off, resulting in a film that feels expressive, emotional, and alive. Combined with gentle drone footage and natural, unscripted moments, the final wedding highlight film feels romantic, timeless, and deeply reflective of the quiet magic that surrounded them.
