Chloé Hayden and Dylan Rohan celebrated their whimsical, fairytale wedding at Woolbrook Homestead in Teesdale, just outside Geelong, Victoria. Blending country charm with timeless elegance, their day was romantic, playful, and deeply personal, making it the perfect setting for a documentary-style wedding film rooted in storytelling and emotion. The wedding was later featured in Marie Claire, recognising its unique aesthetic and heartfelt atmosphere.

The Venue

Nestled in Teesdale near Geelong, Woolbrook Homestead offers a beautiful balance of vintage elegance and rural charm. The historic homestead and surrounding countryside created an idyllic backdrop for Chloé and Dylan’s garden-party celebration, perfectly complementing the whimsical, fairytale tone of the day.

The Couple

Chloé and Dylan are two of the kindest, most genuine people I have met. Their love is effortless and deeply felt, and it radiates in every interaction they share. In the lead-up to the wedding, Chloé even found four barn kittens at the homestead and decided to give them a forever home, which perfectly reflects the warmth and generosity at the heart of who they are.

The Wedding

From the very beginning, their wedding felt like something truly special. Bride and groom preparations unfolded within the vintage rooms of the homestead, offering a mix of editorial elegance and candid moments. Dylan’s prep took place in the front room around the pool table, which made for relaxed, natural footage with a refined edge. Chloé’s space was filled with nostalgia and modern romance, beautifully complementing her tailored J’aton Couture gown. Her veil, inscribed with the words “Happily ever after”, and her white cowgirl boots added a playful, personal touch.

Their ceremony was emotional and full of magic. Chloé walked down the aisle to live music performed by Riverside Ensemble, with vows that were raw, heartfelt, and deeply moving. Bubbles floated through the air as they walked back down the aisle together, creating a joyful and cinematic moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.

The reception continued the celebration with thoughtful, creative details. Guests were treated to a Disney-inspired tattoo artist, vegan food trucks, and a photo booth, while Dann Event Hire transformed the space into a relaxed cocktail-style setting where everyone could mingle, celebrate, and soak in the atmosphere.

What inspired me most when creating Chloé and Dylan’s wedding film was the genuine love that surrounded them. Their vows and speeches formed the emotional backbone of the story, bringing tears while still carrying the light, joyful energy they brought to the day. I wanted the film to feel candid and documentary in style, while still leaning into my creative storytelling approach. The result is a romantic, timeless wedding highlight film that captures their fairytale celebration in a way that feels authentic, heartfelt, and completely their own.
