Molly and Tim celebrated their relaxed, family-focused wedding at The Ranch in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Set amongst rolling farmland and open paddocks, their day was candid, genuine, and deeply personal, making it the perfect fit for a documentary-style wedding film centred on connection and storytelling.

The Venue

Located in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, The Ranch is a picturesque horse riding property surrounded by farmland, horses, and wide open countryside. The venue held special meaning for Molly, who used to visit the ranch as a child, and it provided a beautiful, nostalgic setting for their wedding day. The on-site church and neighbouring vineyards added to the charm, while the sweeping landscape created stunning visual moments throughout the day.

The Couple

Molly and Time are incredibly kind, easy-going, and warm. From the very beginning, they wanted a simple, family-driven celebration that felt natural and true to who they are. While they were a little camera-shy at first, a relaxed and candid approach helped them feel comfortable quickly and let their genuine connection shine through.

The Wedding

Their wedding began with a private first look on a hilltop overlooking the property, a quiet and meaningful moment shared just between the two of them. This part of the day was captured in both digital and Super 8, offering a soft, nostalgic feel that suited the setting beautifully. Throughout the day, Molly and Time embraced a calm, unhurried pace that allowed moments to unfold naturally and keeping the focus on family, love, and togetherness.

The Video

What inspired me most when creating Molly and Tim's wedding film was the balance between light-hearted humour and deep affection. Their speeches brought laughter and warmth, while the overall tone of the day was slow, intimate, and full of heart. I wanted the film to feel like home, taking its time and allowing their love to naturally shine through. The couple had hoped to include Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac in their film, and with perfect timing I was able to surprise them with their song choice. This made the final edit even more meaningful and resulted in a romantic, heartfelt wedding highlight film that reflects their warmth, connection, and story.
