Toni + Bevan // Timeless Narrative

Toni & Bevan | Warrawong Estate Wedding Film

‘When I tell you our video is actually magic! The story telling that comes across through her work and her use of digital and film as well as drone footage is just beyond.’

Toni and Bev celebrated their heartfelt countryside wedding at Warrawong Estate in Eynesbury, near Geelong, Victoria. Set against open farmland and rustic architecture, their day felt warm, intimate, and full of joy, making it a beautiful fit for a documentary-style wedding film that focused on storytelling, connection, and genuine moments.

The Venue

Located in Eynesbury near Geelong, Warrawong Estate is a modern countryside venue known for its barn-style spaces, open surrounds, and relaxed elegance. With outdoor areas that encouraged guests to gather and connect, the estate created a welcoming, home-like atmosphere that suited Toni and Bev's vision perfectly.

The Couple

Toni and Bev are easy-going, affectionate, and deeply connected. Their love is grounded in warmth and mutual respect, and that sense of ease felt throughout the day. They approached their wedding with intention and openness, creating a celebration that felt personal and inclusive.

The Wedding

Their wedding was emotional, uplifting, and full of meaningful moments. Family played a central role, with children included throughout the day and guests encouraged to relax and enjoy the experience. Games during cocktail hour brought laughter and connection, while the overall tone remained calm, joyful, and effortlessly stylish. The day struck a beautiful balance between editorial elegance and genuine celebration.

The Video

This film marked my first time fully leaning into a deeply storytelling-driven approach, inspired by cinema and the way films allow moments to breathe before music gently carries the story forward. I shaped the edit so that when someone spoke, the focus stayed on their words, letting the music fade before cutting back in to support montage moments that visualised what was being said. One of the most special elements came through pure curiosity and a little luck. Wanting to not only tell but truly show their "how they met" story, I reached out to Toni's brother, who pointed me towards Toni's YouTube account, filled with home videos from their travels through Europe, including footage from the trip where Be proposed. These personal slips became the heart of the film, allowing me to weave their shared history and precious memories into once cinematic narrative. Keeping this discovery a surprise made the final film even more meaningful, and seeing their reaction when they watched it for the first time was incredibly special.
