Nina + David // Till the end of time

Nina & David | The Button Factory Cheltenham Wedding Film

‘Jess and Max are super invested in their work and made sure to get as much inspiration and guidance from us to make sure we got the photos and videos we were after, and winged it perfectly on the details we weren't worried about.’

Nina and David celebrated their modern, editorial wedding at The Button Factory in Cheltenham, Melbourne, Victoria, with their reception hosted by Nudo Events. Stylish, creative, and effortlessly cool, their day blended contemporary design with romantic moments, making it a natural fit for a documentary-style wedding film with a refined, cinematic edge.

The Venue

Located in Cheltenham, The Button Factory is an industrial-style venue known for its clean lines, textured spaces, and moody atmosphere. The setting offered a sleek and sophisticated backdrop for the ceremony and portraits, while the reception space curated by Nudo Events elevated the celebration with a polished, modern aesthetic. Together, the venues created a seamless flow between intimate moments and a high-energy evening.

The Couple

Nina and David are calm, stylish, and deeply connected. Their dynamic felt grounded and confident, with an understated elegance that carried through every part of the day. They approached their wedding with intention and ease, allowing moments to unfold naturally without feeling over-styled or staged.

The Wedding

Their wedding was a balance of modern romance and creative expression. Thoughtful details, a magazine-inspired aesthetic, and playful personal touches shaped the day, from the ceremony through to the reception. Highlights included an energetic dance floor, a lively photo booth, and relaxed moments shared between family and friends, all contributing to a celebration that felt elevated yet approachable.

The Video

When I first spoke to Nina and David about music, they shared their love for Lana Del Rey, which became a key source of inspiration for the film. I chose to blend two of her songs together, allowing them to flow seamlessly before introducing a dramatic mid-point transition using church bells that shifted the tone and energy of the edit. Leaning heavily into an editorial, magazine-inspired aesthetic, I designed the title screen to reflect this chic influence. With a documentary approach guiding the storytelling, the final wedding highlight film feels refined, cinematic, and expressive, capturing both the mood and modern elegance of their day.
